It is possible that Google will not be beaten by one big competitor. It is possible that they will be pecked at by thousands of tiny start-ups using a new outsourced infrastructure. But before getting to that punchline, here is my 11 point recap of the search market:

As a Gen-Xer, I don't thank the Boomers for much, but as a new Dad I absolutely thank them for this and hope the trend towards time spent with family (true family values as opposed to what the extreme right espouses) becomes part of what it means to be American and not just being industrial and working long hours.

However,a new survey actually found that music publishers and artists should be very upbeat on current trends and the fact that young adults are willing to put a “considerable value” on music, if the right service is offered. Music industry, are you listening?
